Tracy Sadler

Plant based food is not boring and to common misconception is not all about lettuce leaves and bananas. Lots of different flavours, textures and colours will get your mouth watering and your belly rumbling.

Lex Posie

Lex Posie is a Canadian trained sports massage therapist. She has a passion for staying active and being healthy. She believes in the power of good deep-pressure massage and is committed to working each body independently. Lex has been descirbed as 'friendly, professional and very effective!'

Phelan Glen

Phelan is a Vinyasa Flow teacher and owner of FOLD. Yoga London. She is a believer in all the benefits of strong and soft yoga and weaves both themes throughout her classes, along with a heavy focus on individual alignment. As every body is unique, Phelan refrains from using blanket anatomical queues and instead offers individual feedback based on the different bodies she sees around her. Phelan's classes are sweaty with challenging peak postures and long holds playfully taken and encouraged, but there is always sufficient time put aside during the last half hour of class for a long, unwinding yin-like sequence designed to re-set the body before taking a ten minute Savasana with blankets, bolsters, eye pillows and an indulging head massage with FOLD.'s own Savasana Oil blend.

Tabla Vinyasa and Sound Bath

This is an invitation for a 2 hour experience of ASANA and LIVE MUSIC in an intimate, one of a kind location in Central London.

The session will entail:

A rhythmic synergy of Asana breath and Live beats.

Jason and Charlie will compose an intuitive and unique Jivamukti inspired Vinyasa session combining breath, movement, sound and emotion. Jason will inspire the practice as well as respond to the flow and energy of Charlie’s guidance with dynamic beats on the ultra versatile TABLA drums.

Charlie will then ease us into deep-long-slow restorative YIN postures while we are immersed in the healing sound of low pitched Bansuri flute and soul southing harmonic analog (natural/non-digital ) soundscapes.

The session will be rounded off with a Citta dissolving sound bath and a guided meditation to help integrate the experience.

Jason Kalidas has trained for 20 years in Indian classical music and is a dedicated Yogi. For the sound Bath he uses Indian classical Raagas: melodic entities each designed for a specific set of emotions. Raagas are highly therapeutic and have their roots in the NADA yoga tradition (Yoga of sound)

Charlie Kelly has been practicing movement, meditation and yoga for over a decade. Teaching a fluid and powerful Jivamukti practice promoting prayer, pranayama and peace.

Positive Body Image: A Led Group Discussion

There is far too much pressure on men and women to look a certain way and to attain a prescribed “ideal” body that is unachievable for most. We believe that sharing ideas and encouraging positive practices can help to clarify and improve our relationships with our bodies.

This group discussion, led by Alice & Becky, will explore the relationship between the practice of yoga and our perceptions of our own bodies. We will dive into the history and philosophy of how yogis, several thousand years ago, related to their physical bodies as well as how they considered deeper “sheaths” such as emotional and energetic bodies. This historical background offers a foundation for considering the more contemporary issues modern yogis face, especially in the age of social media. Our aim is to create an open, supportive discussion to talk about body image and the ways yoga can impact one's body image and self-esteem, both positively and negatively. The session will comprise both discussion and practical exercises, including meditation and mantra creation; however, we will not practice any yoga asana.

All money raised will be donated to Stem4 charity, which supports young people struggling with mental illness, including eating disorders (

£20 per person. Open to all.

What you’ll come away with:

  • A better understanding of the foundations of yoga philosophy, particularly how it relates to perceptions of and relationships to the human body.

  • Ideas for how to foster a healthy body image, inspiration for self-care, and tools to help manage societal pressures, particularly with regards to social media.

  • Mantras and meditation and breathing techniques to help bring focus and peace into your daily life

Alice Jackson is passionate about encouraging people to cultivate better relationships with their bodies. She is a positive body image promoter and yoga teacher having trained in yoga therapy for eating disorders. After overcoming anorexia 10 years ago she understands the difficulties that people can go through. Alice knows from experience that sharing these feelings is the first step towards developing more positive ways of thinking about ourselves.

Becky Farbstein has been practising yoga for more than twelve years, having become hooked on the practice when she was in graduate school. With no background in dance, gymnastics, or martial arts, Becky has always firmly believed that yoga is for every body. She teaches physically and intellectually challenging vinyasa classes that weave traditional yoga philosophy alongside asana practice that places primacy on building a strong, steady breath. Becky has an academic background in anthropology and archaeology, which fosters her ongoing interest in how social norms and pressures impact individual behaviour and perceptions of self.
