DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
Yes, classes need to be be pre-booked online, over the phone, or at the studio. Because class spaces are limited, we have a strict 2-hour cancellation policy on all of our classes. Classes must be cancelled online, we cannot accept cancellations via phone or email.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We suggest wearing comfortable and light clothing. Our studio is moderately heated but the extra bodies in the room mean that busy classes can get pretty steamy! We provide mats and props but if you prefer to bring your own please go for it. An extra layer for savasana, a bottle of water, and a hair tie can often be useful too.
IS IT NORMAL TO FIND THE FIRST FEW CLASSES DIFFICULT?
Yep! The good news is, it gets easier - and then it gets harder in different ways. Take as much rest as you need, drink lots of water after class, and see what happens after a few weeks of regular practice; your muscles will strengthen more quickly than you’d expect.
WHAT IF I CAN’T TOUCH MY TOES?
If you can put your own shoes on, you’re doing just fine.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTISE YOGA?
As often as you realistically can! Most of our regular students are in between 1-3 times a week; some a little more often, some a little less. We’d recommend showing up as often as you can but we want yoga to enhance your life, not take over it.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE SESSIONS?
Yes. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a private session with one of our teachers.
