Elizabeth has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 10 years and has had a keen interest in health and fitness throughout her life; training as a gymnast until her late teens. She believes there is a magical quality to the yoga practice which helps us work through life’s issues, physically challenging the body to focus & calm our minds. She is passionate about sharing these qualities in her classes, creating flows which cultivate a sense of exploration & personal enquiry for her students.
She believes yoga is for everyone - and creates a warm and inclusive atmosphere in class, with options so there is something for all students. She brings a light hearted and playful quality and, through her training, a strong foundation in both anatomy & physiology and yogaphilosophy. She continues to be inspired by a range of yoga styles and some fitness too! Her classes are grounded in meditation and yoga philosophies which inspire her own practice. She loves moving the body creatively and playfully; flowing through carefully crafted sequences that do work students hard but also give space to let the stresses of modern life melt away and to connect to a greater awareness of ourselves.
She teachers vinyasa flow – a flowing & strong style of yoga which allows the student to explore breath with movement.
She undertook a 2 year intensive training with Triyoga and is a Yoga Alliance accredited (350 hours) and British Wheel of Yoga certified teacher. She has also undergone additional training in creative sequencing.
